Andreea Chira & Syrinx Ensemble
Pan flute & Strings
After the cooperation with the Kahlo Ensemble in 2019, the project with pan flute as solo instrument and strings ensemble has developed further and in the future will be presented under the name of "Syrinx Ensemble".
Andreea Chira on the pan flute with the "Syrinx" strings ensemble create an unique sound, whereby the pan flute fits perfectly with the traditional sound of classical music. In this way, they succeed in expanding the expectations and attitudes for this extraordinary formation from Austria. The performance of famous concerts by Händel, Bach, Stamitz, Haydn or Piazzolla, but also film music and bravura pieces by Morricone, Williams, Arban and Dinicu, is always enthusiastically honored by the audience.

"Baroque music is closer to folk music. And so it was mostly written: That you could sing it in the street."
Baroque music by two instruments which, although still considered folk instruments, harmonize wonderfully with each other and give classical music a new sound. Compositions from four baroque centres: Germany, Italy, France and Spain. All pieces are played on these two extraordinary instruments, each of which has a great fascination of its own. Unfortunately the composers did not get to know these instruments personally, but these instruments have managed to meet their compositions.
Enjoy a special evening with two young musicians who already celebrate international success and have established themselves as classical musicians with these their instruments.
A concert that combines: the sound of instruments that have been loved by ordinary people throughout history and the musical perfection created by some of the most brilliant composers of the time.
Classic Meets Jazz Meets Folk
Pan flute & Piano
Under the motto "Classic meets Jazz meets Folk" influences from different musical styles are fused together. From the most famous pieces by Gheorghe Zamfir, Romanian folklore and well-known jazz standards such as "Spain" or "Donna Lee", to the classical repertoire of the flute.
